INEM JOURNAL · MEDICAL EXPERT OPINIONS

Medical opinions in Polish–German cases

Records from two countries, different languages and a different report recipient: define the scope before work starts.

INEM editorial team · Editorial update: 13 September 2026 · General information, not an individual medical assessment.

What needs to be agreed?

The purpose and recipient, assessment period, specialty, languages of records and report, and any need for translation or examination. Similar terms should not be assumed to have identical criteria in every system.

INEM’s expert-practice network

We cooperate with renowned expert practices covering all medical specialties. We do not publish their names; the physician’s match to the questions and language of the case is confirmed before acceptance.

How can you start without unnecessary document transfers?

In your first enquiry, state the recipient’s country, purpose, language and deadline. Do not send medical records. Document handling begins only after scope, fee and transfer arrangements are agreed. Acceptance of the report by its recipient is not guaranteed.
