Terms of service.
These terms describe services provided by IMB Consult GmbH to coordinate independent medical expert opinions and reviews of records.
1. General
The provider is IMB Consult GmbH. We coordinate an independent physician’s opinion. The service is informational and organisational; it does not replace the treating physician or provide ongoing treatment.
2. Scope
Services include opinions based on records, medical analysis for law firms and insurers and, where medically necessary and separately agreed, examinations by physicians in Germany. Questions and report language are individually agreed. Video assessment is in development; no video appointments are currently bookable.
3. Contract and fees
A contract is formed after confirmation of scope, questions, fee and timeframe. An enquiry is not a contract. Fees depend on records volume, specialty, questions, report language, translations and examinations. Examination and translation costs are disclosed before acceptance. Travel and accommodation are excluded unless agreed otherwise.
4. Client responsibilities
Provide complete and accurate records relevant to the agreed opinion and any legally required authorisation or consent. Do not submit medical records through website forms or ordinary email attachments.
5. Limitations
Opinions reflect the medical assessment of supplied evidence at a particular time. They are not court-appointed expert opinions, do not replace ZUS, KRUS or disability authority assessments and do not guarantee treatment outcomes, benefits, compensation or reimbursement.
6. Complaints
Submit complaints to info@imb-consult.de. Complaints are reviewed within 14 working days.
7. Applicable law
The provider is a German company based in Bochum. German law applies to matters not otherwise regulated, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence, including Polish consumers’ protections under Polish law. Personal data is processed under the GDPR.
