Current status: we are recruiting video medical experts. There are no bookable video appointments yet. A video interview does not replace a necessary physical examination.
What a video assessment means
The planned service combines records review with a structured medical interview by video. The output is a written expert opinion within an agreed scope, not simply a recording of a call.
Suitability comes first
A physician determines whether the questions can be addressed remotely. The recipient’s requirements and the person’s location also matter. If a physical examination is necessary, video is not a substitute.
Preparing for the interview
After acceptance: use the agreed private connection, prepare identification, check camera and microphone, and choose a quiet room. Any interpreter or accompanying person must be agreed in advance. Records use the separately agreed transfer channel.
If video is not enough
If the connection fails or evidence is insufficient, the assessment may need further records, another appointment or an examination. Scope, cost and next steps are agreed before additional work.
