Need, scope and reasoning
Questions may concern rehabilitation goals, the duration of a programme or the medical basis for assistance in daily activities. Each scope needs its own questions and evidence. Cost is not a substitute for assessing need.
What can a structured opinion provide?
An account of the medical basis, findings from the records and limits of the assessment. After case assessment, INEM selects the appropriate specialty and agrees a written review. If functional assessment or examination is needed, this is identified before further steps.
Context and limits
OECD’s 2025 Poland profile describes long-term care resources. System-level data cannot determine an individual need. A private opinion does not confer disability status or benefit entitlement; the applicable procedure’s criteria need separate clarification.
