Clinical assessment first
We establish the specialty and whether an examination is necessary and feasible. A proposed visit is subject to physician availability and suitability.
Before travelling
Confirm the location, appointment, required records, working language and any interpreter, examination costs and report scope. Travel and accommodation are excluded unless agreed otherwise.
Written conclusions
The physician considers the agreed records and examination findings. The resulting opinion explains its reasoning and limitations. It does not guarantee benefit entitlement or a favourable outcome.
